How do you create the optimal customer experience when you need to establish someone’s identity in a digital world? This is the exact question Belsimpel.nl (internationally known as Gomibo) faced in 2016. Belsimpel.nl is the largest independent Dutch retailer of mobile devices, subscriptions, and accessories. When purchasing a phone accompanied by a subscription, a robust identity verification method is a necessity. However, the process in place was outdated, time-consuming, and inefficient. This lead to an unpleasant experience for the would-be customers, which is unacceptable for any company built on treating the customer like family. A new solution would have to found, one that focussed on just one basis: providing the best possible customer experience throughout. 


Furthermore, a new solution should be digital, affordable, easy-to-use and secure. During the search for a solution Belsimpel.nl quickly found out that no such thing existed. Their solution? Build a new one from scratch. Thus, in 2017 Verifai was launched as a spin-off. Our mission is to make identity fraud a thing of the past. We believe that this objective can be achieved by making our platform accessible for business of all sizes. Our software is made to integrate seamlessly into your existing systems and can be tailored to the specific needs of your company, which is made possible by the modular structure of our software.
